One of my favorite pics from the wedding. This kid.....LOL! We were on the 7th floor, and he was afraid he would fall over the balcony so he had that same look on his face for the whole thing! Parker, Parker, Parker.
It was such a happy day for me. With all that I have been through in this life so far, it was so nice to feel completely loved by my husband and family. I guess that all of the bad I have experienced in life has made the good that much better. I wouldn't change anything! I am grateful that I am able to find the pure joy in things.

On June 7, 2013, I lost another good friend. His name is Scott Lund. After college, I lived in a house on Ramona Ave in Sugarhouse, UT. We were called the Ramona Trio. We were Alissa Stookey, Scott Lund and myself. Alissa passed away last August and Scott this June. The reality slap? The three of us starting using drugs and alcohol together when we lived together. I am the only survivor of the Trio. I am so thankful for my decision 4 years ago to get clean and sober.
Rest in love Scott. I will never forget you!!!!

Alissa, my friend,
Took a trip through Southern Utah on my way to Arizona this past week. I couldn't help but smile and remember all of the fun we had roadtripping on the weekends when we were in college. I watched the scenery go by, smiled a lot and listened to Phil Collins. What joyous memories! I love you and miss you Alissa.
You are always in my heart. : ))
